- initially from seattle, wa; i am currently a freshman at colorado college in colorado springs, co. all of the 3D works are from my senior year at st. george's school in newport, ri, as well as most of the drawings. i spent my junior year in france, and while most of the pieces on this page are from senior and sophomore year, some of my drawings from junior year had a very influential impact on the my drawing style. using cafés as my studio, i started doing faster, seemingly rougher sketches. i've come to favor the imperfection that a quick sketch brings; in addition to captivating the viewer, i believe it leaves a lot more for the viewer to determine and interpret. last year, i took AP 3D, which allowed me to experiment with an entirely new genre of art. this past semester, i took an intro to drawing class at colorado college (a required class before taking any upper level art) and some of the more recent posts are from my work in that class.
